November 22. Romans ch 6-8
WHAT TIME IS IT?
“Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘This people says, “The time has not come, even the time for the house of the Lord to be rebuilt.” ’ ” Then the word of the Lord came by Haggai the prophet, saying, “Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses while this house lies desolate?” Now therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts, “Consider your ways! You have sown much, but harvest little; you eat, but there is not enough to be satisfied; you drink, but there is not enough to become drunk; you put on clothing, but no one is warm enough; and he who earns, earns wages to put into a purse with holes.” Thus says the Lord of hosts, “Consider your ways!
Haggai 1:2-7 NASB1995
GOOD DAY: I get too many messages from people who are concerned about what some super rich people are doing to enslave mankind and government policies that take away the freedom of people through advancing technology. I used to ignore it but now I asked God what His children are to make of these threats and news. His answer calls for deep thoughts and action. He said to my spirit, “ tell My children it is time to consider their ways.’ Instead of considering the scary and fearful plans the powers of the world are nurturing which you can’t do anything about, you should consider your ways which you can control. It is time to choose whether you will know and serve God and His Son Jesus whom He sent to redeem you or you will serve the world and its prince. Know the difference between them; God leads with love, but the prince of this world rules by fear.
It is time to develop your spiritual life if you choose to serve God. It is time to study and know His voice when He talks to you. It is time to live a life of total surrender to Him. It is time to know His peace and stand in it always. Know that we are already in the time when trust in God is the way forward. Choose to give quality time and attention to the knowledge of God.
PRAY: Dear Lord, You are my all, teach me how to know You and the power of Your resurrection.
