SYSTEM UPGRADE
Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of instruction about washings and laying on of hands, and the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment. GOOD DAY. Why are many people cold about the things of God? It is because they need a system upgrade. . In fact the whole world needs system upgrade when it comes to spirituality. In the tech world, if a system gets old and not upgraded and updated, the equipment soon stops working. The church finds herself struggling with people leaving their gates and not coming back so they are using the world’s upgrade and update method to address the problems. God is spirit, we are spirit beings and we are controlled by spiritual laws. The Bible is spiritual written in the language of man. Unless we are taught how to operate the spiritual side of the Bible, we soon lose interest and abandon it as out of date and out of touch with the season. There are the elementary teachings of the Bible to which the bulk of Christians have stuck. These elementary teachings soon stop meeting the needs of the man of today. Elementary teachings of dos and don’ts and still talking about farming and Ashtaroth as god that the modern man does not understand. Jesus prepared us for this time when He gave us the work of the Holy Spirit.
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
John 14:26 NASB1995. The Holy Spirit is our teacher so we need to update our system of how to relate with Him. We need to know who He is, where He lives and the language He speaks for us to relate with Him effectively. Do the exercise of writing out what you know about the Holy Spirit and set your attention on Him in the time you are not doing any of your regular work today. Look at what you wrote in the evening and note what happens as you stay your attention on Him.
