LIKE FATHER LIKE CHILD
Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.
Leviticus 20:7 KJV
but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
1 Peter 1:15-16 ESV
GOOD DAY: We continue to look at I AM as it relates to each one.of us as children of God. I had a deal with a Muslim woman and she mistakenly made a promise that would not really favor her. I couldn’t tell whether it would favor her or not but I agreed as we have become friends. My spirit accepted her and we became gist friends. By the time the agreement was to take effect, she discovered that it needed to be amended slightly. She mentioned it to me and I said “no worries”. However, she stood by the original arrangement saying it wasn’t my fault. I saw God in her in our dealings and I became convinced that it is through a person’s DNA that you actually confirm paternity and not by mouth. I saw God in all her dealings.
Really, the way to know if you are aware that you have God’s DNA is to behave like God. Your evangelism should not just be with words of mouth but words initiated by your lifestyle that makes observers inquire who you are. God says we are to be holy for He is holy. Holiness is the nature of God. We are to exhibit His nature not just His creative nature but His holiness as we grow in awareness. Like the saying goes, you will remember the child of who you are as you become aware and behave true to type.
PRAY: Dear Lord, help me to walk worthy of being called Your child.
