JOURNEY TO A BETTER AND FULFILLED LIFE
“Now when the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came’; and when it comes, it finds it unoccupied, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. That is the way it will also be with this evil generation.”

GOOD DAY. We continue from where we left off yesterday. Having cleaned your heart of all negative feelings, emotions and motives, you cannot leave your heart empty. You must consciously fill your heart with something otherwise uninvited guests will come in and fill up the space. Deliverance here is not restricted to a minister coming to lay hands on you or casting out demons. It is when you hear the word of God preached or read your Bible or book and realize that there is a vice in your spirit and you decide to renounce such vice and ask the Holy Spirit to free you from it.
Once you become aware of that motive or spirit and you sincerely pray asking the Holy Spirit to free you from it, that is deliverance. For example, if you become aware of covetousness in you, you should ask the Holy Spirit to take it out. Whenever you notice it in your mind, you should tell yourself that you refuse to be covetous. You replace it by contentment with what you have and give thanks. You need to fill your mind with the word of God. Your heart must not be empty. The key to freeing your heart from any bad motive or thought is becoming AWARE of the motive for what it is. Poverty comes from within. When you become aware of this, reject poverty in your heart and speak the word of God to yourself over and over till it goes into your spirit and starts guiding you in what to do to righteously attract wealth. The word of God should fill your heart and it will attract the will of God to your life. When you don’t know the particular word of God to save in your heart, then fill your heart with gratitude to God. I fill my heart with gratitude to God and I stay aware and true about any motive in my heart for desiring anything. Awareness makes me decide whether to embrace the feeling or spirit or reject it.
PRAY: Dear Lord, keep me aware of the state of my heart and turn away from whatever is not praise worthy.
