March 5. 1 Samuel ch 17-20
GATHERING AND KEEPING YOUR AUDIENCE
“If you are uniquely gifted in your work, you will rise and be promoted. You won’t be held back— you’ll stand before kings!” Proverbs 22:29 TPT
GOOD DAY. I remember in the nineties there was a vulcaniser in a petrol station in Maryland Lagos. He worked 24 hours. He was so good at his work that car owners from all over Lagos came to patronize him. He started with one compressor without any apprentice. Within a year, he bought two more compressors and had five apprentices. He kept growing bigger onto the point where he had branches out of the petrol station and was overseeing his apprentices working. This is an example of how you gather and keep your audience. When you add the value anyone desires to his life when he comes to you, he not only comes back to you he tells others about you so if they need the same value they can come to you. More than verbal advertisement, performance or delivery of value attracts and keeps your audience. Anyone who came to Jesus got rest for their souls and they told others about Him and even now, anyone who follows Him through following His teachings finds hope and rest for his soul. Jesus uses the eagle gathering around where their food or value is as an example.
“For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.” Matthew 24:28 KJV
Remember that God likens those who wait on Him to the eagle. Isaiah 40:31. Value attracts and keeps the audience. Add the value you have to someone’s life today and as long as it is called today, then watch your audience grow. If it is joy you have to give, make someone joyful today; if it is peace, help someone to locate peace; if it is knowledge of how to solve problems, share it with that confused person around you, if it is wealth, share with the needy and help them as they too add value to you. “But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit [the spiritual illumination and the enabling of the Holy Spirit] for the common good.” 1 Corinthians 12:7 AMP
You are enabled or gifted by God to add value to all. As we add value to each other, the world will be peaceful and we all will have enough that we need.
PRAY: Dear God, show me my value and teach me to purposefully and gainfully use it for the good of all.
