MINDING YOUR MIND.
“‘Thus says the Lord God, “It will come about on that day, that thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil plan,” Ezekiel 38:10 NASB1995
Good day. The mind can be likened to the RAM of a computer or a depository of the man. Ideas and thoughts come into the mind and go out from the mind as well. Ideas and thoughts are processed in the mind and through the processing, we devise plans and actions. Most people are not conscious of their mind because it is like a natural inward part that starts working even from inside the womb. “For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy.”

John the Baptist leaped in the womb at the sound of Mary’s voice.
There are information that come inbuilt in the mind when a person is born. You are not taught to breathe, eat, ease yourself etc. Apart from these natural instincts, other information have to be allowed in the mind. This is where the man comes in to decide which info he allows in, which he thinks about or the one he throws out as garbage.
Ideas can originate from God (Genesis 2:15-16); the Devil (Genesis 3:4-5) and the environment (Genesis 3:6). Each one has its consequences as we know from these stories. Try and be conscious of what goes on in your mind from today.
PRAY: Dear Lord, help me to fill my mind with ideas from You. Let Your word dwell richly in me.
