December 16. Hebrews ch 5-7
UNDERSTAND YOUR HELPER
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, Ephesians 3:20 NASB1995
GOOD DAY. Read the above scripture over and over until it enters deep into you and you can feel that ‘power of help’ to achieve that lives in you. He is your Emmanuel. When this truth, that Jesus is your friend and He is with you to help you always, your lifestyle and accomplishments will take a new higher dimension.
What are the things your friend Emmanuel likes?
“If I regard wickedness in my heart, The Lord will not hear; But certainly God has heard; He has given heed to the voice of my prayer.”
Psalms 66:18-19 NASB1995
The power that works within us as children of God does not like iniquity. He loves us to live in love for He is love. We must not hold iniquity in our heart where He lives. Scripture says this about iniquity that affects our asking and receiving;
“What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members? You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God”. James 4:1-4 NASB1995
This gives a breakdown of what iniquity is.
So to put the power that works in you to action, you need to be mindful to keep your heart as pure as you can if you belong to Jesus.
The power that works within us also wants us to be still. He says ““Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.””
Psalms 46:10 NASB1995
The world believes that you acquire your desires by striving. Whoever does not strive is perceived as weak but such a person is strongest if he is calm trusting the power within him to perform.
Are you trusting God for something and you seem helpless? You are not. Check what scripture says above, see that you align yourself with it and wait. Help is with you. He is working even if you don’t see it yet or He is silent. In His time and way, He will manifest.
