TO THE LEADER AS TO THE FOLLOWERS

October 31.                                 John ch 7-9

DO WELL WHAT YOU ARE CALLED TO DO.

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might;…”‭   ‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭9:10‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.”‭ ‭Galatians‬ ‭6:7‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

GOOD DAY. I got this picture on a social media platform about a former president whose house is flooded in the current flooding in the country. My heart broke and I was instructed in today’s scriptures we have seen the result of bad governance affect people in our nation for so many times especially in COVID season when many who had been in government died like that common man because there was no infrastructure to take adequate care in an emergency. When they were sick, the public did not know and they lived with speculation. This however comes with evidence as people around saw.

People who govern must govern well because whatever condition that they leave their nation while in office is what they are coming to meet out of office. God is not mocked, whatever a person sows, he will reap. It is time to learn. Like leaders, like followers, we must serve as to the Lord.

Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. For he who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality.    Colossians 3:23‭-‬25 NASB1995

Let the followers know that the boss cannot unilaterally do his evil and corrupt practices without their assistance and cooperation.l

PRAY: Dear Lord, in Your mercy, tune our hearts to Your righteousness.
