WHAT CAN WE DO FOR GOOD CHANGE TO HAPPEN? (2)
[WHAT WE DESIRE]
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.
2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NASB1995
GOOD DAY. This is a very familiar scripture to many people and so much of spiritual warfare has been done over my country concerning corruption and wickedness but unfortunately we are empowering what we do not want. Let us see what God says about how He answers prayer. Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will surely do to you;
Numbers 14:28 NASB1995
What do we say to the hearing of the Lord about our nation? Even in churches, what we hear repeated in the name of prayer are the wicked and corrupt deeds of the people.
Listen,we do not have weapons to fight in the flesh but no government or law can forbid us from using our spiritual weapon that we have. This spiritual weapon is the word, especially the word of God and our imagination from that word. Our warfare is to persist in the word of God even when our senses do not yet see what we are proclaiming our words are working in the Spirit realm. If we can persist, and not speak the natural happenings in the ears of God, we shall have what we confess. Here is a part of Psalm 72. It talks about a righteous king ruling and it expresses the best a people can expect from their leader. Read the whole Psalm and use it to form a proclamation about our nation. Never mind that the contrary is what we are seeing for now. If as many people as possible can persist in their confession of God’s design for our nation, we shall have what we proclaim and imagine and rejoice over our nation.
“Give the king Your judgments, O God, And Your righteousness to the king’s son. May he judge Your people with righteousness And Your afflicted with justice. Let the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness. May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, Save the children of the needy And crush the oppressor. Let them fear You while the sun endures, And as long as the moon, throughout all generations. May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, Like showers that water the earth. In his days may the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace till the moon is no more. For he will deliver the needy when he cries for help, The afflicted also, and him who has no helper. He will have compassion on the poor and needy, And the lives of the needy he will save. He will rescue their life from oppression and violence, And their blood will be precious in his sight;” Psalms 72:1-7, 12-14 NASB1995
PRAY: Dear Lord, please heal our people and let us believe You enough to say what You say of our nation no matter what we are seeing.
