THROUGH IT ALL

October 17.                                             Mark ch 5-7

THROUGH IT ALL

For You have tried us, O God; You have refined us as silver is refined. You brought us into the net; You laid an oppressive burden upon our loins. You made men ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water, Yet You brought us out into a place of abundance.

Psalms 66:10‭-‬12 NASB1995

GOOD DAY. My friend had prayed, quoted scriptures and imagined her desire fulfilled with feelings of joy overwhelming her. Rather than things getting better, they were getting worse and threatening to take everything that is meaningful to her. Nothing still happened in the right direction. At first she was calm and had peace for some months and she started getting worried but when she did not expect, her imagination manifested. Before the manifestation, she was taken through rough roads of life. She went through rough waters. She never doubted God or the “yes” she got from her imagination. She had a revelation about Joseph and his dreams and all the tribulations that followed the dream. Joseph too was weary of the reactions he got from his brothers after narrating the dream to his brothers and parents.

While waiting for the fulfillment of the mega vision, she had other quick ones in between. Like Joseph who had God with him in the prison making him find favour with the jailers she had other manifestations and joyful moments. Such moments assured her that God was with her.

The way of God to fulfill each promise or vision could be rough and take some time and it could be quick and instant. No one can predict how it will be for each particular request but the important thing is that He is never late. His purposes will ripen fast by His own standard. Through it all, He will take you to His promise.

I encourage those still waiting with this song.

THROUGH IT ALL

1 I’ve had many tears and sorrows,

I’ve had questions for tomorrow,

there’s been times I didn’t know right from wrong.

But in every situation,

God gave me blessed consolation,

that my trials come to only make me strong

Refrain

Through it all,

through it all,

I’ve learned to trust in Jesus,

I’ve learned to trust in God.

Through it all,

through it all,

I’ve learned to depend upon His Word.

2 I’ve been to lots of places,

I’ve seen a lot of faces,

there’s been times I felt so all alone.

But in my lonely hours,

yes, those precious lonely hours,J

esus lets me know that I was His own

Refrain

3 I thank God for the mountains,

and I thank Him for the valleys,

I thank Him for the storms He brought me through.

For if I’d never had a problem,

I wouldn’t know God could solve them,

I’d never know what faith in God could do.

Refrain.
