THE INNER MAN – Jeremiah Ch 43-45

“Or do you not know that your body is a temple
of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not
your own?” –
1 Corinthians 6:19 NASB1995

“But there is a spirit in man: And the
inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.” –
Job
32:8 KJV

GOOD MORNING. The
person we see next to us is the house of a spirit. The real person is a spirit
and we cannot see him with our physical eyes. The spirit in man will give him
inspiration and the fruit of the inspiration makes us to recognise the unseen
spirit. Two days ago, we spoke about the works of the flesh or the evil spirits
which will keep one out of the kingdom of God’s benefits.

Today
we’ll see the fruit of the Holy Spirit if He dwells in you. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and
self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
Galatians
5:22-23 NIV. Have you experienced any of these emotions before? To so many
people, they are strangers to these emotions. You are not alone, even the disciples
of Jesus were strangers to them until the Holy Spirit started living inside
them. This is the fruit that keeps a person joyful and at peace even in the
face of trials. It is described as the peace of God that passes all
understanding. You are the first partaker of the fruit of the Spirit in you
before it flows out to others. When you speak, your speech will minister peace,
love, joy and life to others and they will call you a child of God without you
announcing it to them.

PRAY.
Dear Lord, let Your Spirit take root in my heart to the point of bearing
fruit.
