THE NATURAL AND THE SPIRIT – TOOL OF IMAGINATION

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for
they shall see God.”
 -Matthew 5:8 ESV

“Let the words of my mouth and the
meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my
redeemer.”
-Psalm 19:14 ESV

GOOD MORNING. Ideas
come from two principal sources. Read Genesis 3:1-7. It can come from God or
from the Devil. To every idea, man weighs it like in this scripture. “So
when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight
to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of
its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and
he ate.” Genesis 3:6 ESV The natural man reasons in the natural sense. He
thinks in the way of pleasure and self.

The
spiritual man asks that the meditation of his heart be acceptable to God and he
keeps his heart pure always so that he may see God. When your thoughts are in
alignment with God, He will instruct you as to what to do to bring His thought
to pass. When ideas and thoughts and imaginations come from the devil or with
negative motives, it may succeed but will lead to death. The best source of
idea is from the word of God. Any random idea that comes to your mind and
trying to stick must be weighed by the revealed word of God the Bible. Then you
can set your thoughts on it and it will form an image or vision which you can
hold on to. What did you get from the scripture for meditation yesterday?
Ephesians 1:3.

PRAY:
Dear Lord, let the meditations of my heart and the words of my mouth be
acceptable to you Lord.
