REJOICE

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]” John 16:33 AMP

GOOD DAY: Today is the day of good news for those who will believe. What is the good news? YOU HAVE OVERCOME ALL THE TROUBLES AND TRIBULATIONS THAT YOU MAY HAVE. This is because Jesus had left a word for His followers that times like this will come so the world situations now are not strange. He also promised that we should not worry because he has overcome for us. We are to remain in Him. The victory that Jesus won for us is abiding.

How can I live in this victory?

What you have to do is to tell it to yourself and any trouble whatsoever that disturbs you that Christ has overcome for you and believe it. As you believe it, you begin to live out your victory inside you so that you don’t feel the effect of the world but that of your belief. Live your life to please Jesus who dwells in you as if things are as you want it. Eat whatever you have with thanksgiving, do your job joyfully without complaining, love that difficult husband or wife of yours without fighting and generally, as long as it lies with you, be at peace with everybody. The victory Jesus won for you does not mean you should be lazy and laid back, it means that you should do whatever your hands find to do very well. Pray for everyone including those persecuting you. Pray and don’t curse. Therein lies the experience of the cooling effect of the victory that Christ won.

PRAY: Dear Lord, help us to hide under Your shadow and never move away from You. Fix our minds on You.
