July 18. Proverbs ch 5-8
WAKE UP TO YOUR REALITY.
““Whoever listens to you listens to me, and whoever refuses to accept you refuses to accept me. And whoever refuses to accept me refuses to accept the One who sent me.”” Luke 10:16
GOOD MORNING: God says “Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.” Isaiah 5:13 KJV
A child of God can go into captivity because he has no knowledge.
Put another way, God says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: ..” Hosea 4:6a KJV.
What knowledge is Jesus Christ talking about here? Open your heart to this teaching and you will enjoy your full freedom and joy from today. First, know that as a child of God in Christ, you are in charge on earth. You are God’s ambassador.
“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20 NASB1995
You are to be reconciled with God then reconcile the earth with God’s kingdom. We are to establish His kingdom here on earth. Our problem is that when we speak or command the will of God here on earth, the world rebels. Once we meet with rebellion, we conclude that we are not in charge. WE FORGET THAT THE WORLD RESISTED JESUS. THEY RESISTED GOD AS WE HAVE IN PSALM 2
“Why do the heathen rage, And the people imagine a vain thing? “The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us tear their fetters apart And cast away their cords from us!” He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them.”
Psalms 2:2-4 NASB1995
God laughed at them and maintained His ground. When the world is resisting you, instead of being sad, frustrated and giving up, laugh at them as God is doing in heaven. The Jesus that you are representing on earth is laughing and expecting you to do the same at the rebellion so He can speak through you till He has them in derision. Listen to this: “Please receive instruction from His mouth And establish His words in your heart. You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And light will shine on your ways.” Job 22:22,28 NASB1995.
As a child of God who receives instructions from the mouth of Jesus through the Holy Spirit, you shall decree a thing and it will be established for you because whoever hears you hears Christ. Be awake to this reality and accept the love of God in Jesus Christ and submit yourself to Him. His will that you stand for shall prevail on earth. Child of God, never lose hope.
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus Christ, open my understanding to the reality of my position in You and give me rest.
