“Though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of oppression, yet your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will [constantly] see your Teacher. Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left. Isaiah 30:20-21 AMP
GOOD DAY: Most people have smart phones now with GPRS to lead them to addresses unknown. I remember having to use one to navigate to an address where I was to minister in Ketu, Lagos some years back. Each time I made a wrong turn, the App would instruct that I should either go back or choose an alternative route until I got to where I was going then it announced when I had reached my destination.
This gives a picture of How God directs us out of any trouble He might have allowed us to experience as we veer away from Him. Like the GPRS, we don’t see the person speaking but we hear his voice with our natural ears then obey as he guides.
This is how it is between God and man. The Holy Spirit is our companion and teacher.
“The Companion, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I told you.” John 14:26 CEB He never leaves us. He knows God’s path to your salvation in any situation. I am always watchful of how words are used in the bible so I will not waste my energy in the wrong direction. Notice that it is the Lord that gave the bread of adversity and water of oppression and NOT THE DEVIL. So my energy is usually directed at knowing the Lord and why He is giving me adversity or oppression. A country that has oppression and adversity should seek the Lord for the way out. They should listen to their teacher from God. Listen to the Holy Spirit. My way of protest against any oppression is to check from God where I am missing Him and anchoring the evil. Let individuals radically exercise how they anchor evil and change for godliness. The more people change, the cleaner the society will become.
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus Christ, let a change for godliness begin from me. Help me to listen to You and obey as you lead me to satisfaction in a time like this.
