KEEP MOVING

“Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving! Pick up your staff and raise your hand over the sea. Divide the water so the Israelites can walk through the middle of the sea on dry ground.” Exodus 14:15-16 NLT

GOOD DAY: Life for so many people is at a standstill with the economic situation of their country and the world as a whole. The standstill is like when the children of Israel were faced with the Red Sea in front of them and the army of Pharaoh at the back. They stood still and kept complaining to Moses for bringing them out of Egypt. Moses too passed their complaints to God who told Moses that the children of Israel must keep moving towards the Red Sea. How is that applicable to people today? School is about to resume, for example, and many people don’t have the school fees to get their children back to school. How are they to move forward when there are no means of paying the fees? Get your child prepared for school, go to your work post daily; speak the word of God that He will provide at the right time. Genesis 22:14. He is Jehovah-Jireh. Another example, I sprained my ankle some months ago. It was painful enough to keep me seated in one spot but I chose to take baby steps while chanting ’in Him I live and move and have my being’ to move around to help myself.

Tiny positive move towards your desire is the way to keep moving forward.

PRAY: Dear Lord, teach me the positive stays of faith that will make me cross any Red Sea on my path.
