how to feel and fear God in this dispensation

October 4.      Amos ch 6-9

HOW TO FEEL AND FEAR GOD IN THIS DISPENSATION. 

““Behold, as for the proud one, His soul is not right within him; But the righteous will live by his faith.” Habakkuk 2:4 NASB1995

GOOD DAY: This is not the first generation to live without fearing or honoring God; it was so at the time of Habakkuk. If you read the short book of Habakkuk, you will see the picture of the world now. Habakkuk was so disturbed that he complained bitterly to God in clear language. The whole of Habakkuk chapter 1 contains the complaints of Habakkuk. Listen to God’s answer in the verse we are considering today. The wicked will continue in their ways but the righteous shall live by his faith. To feel and fear God in a perverse generation is a personal walk. First, you decide that God exists and He rewards those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6. To those who do not know Jesus Christ as Lord and savior yet choose to seek Him, He reveals Himself to them and rewards them. Cornelius is an example. “Peter said, “Now I know for certain that God doesn’t show favoritism with people but treats everyone on the same basis. It makes no difference what race of people one belongs to. If they show deep reverence for God, and are committed to doing what’s right, they are acceptable before him.” Acts 34-35 TPT

Whoever personally honors God, God rewards the person both here and in eternity. Those who seek God will find Him. 

When I became conscious of this, I decided to read through the bible in the simple language that I can connect with. With repeated reading, the Word of God became engraved in my heart and I live as much as possible by His instructions. The Word became my flesh. I started feeling and experiencing God in everything that happens in my life. God is love and peace and joy. I felt Him in loving the most unloveable around me and having peace and joy that passes human understanding. Even in these perverse times, I have love, peace and joy. I go through all things with Christ who strengthens me. I allow the revival to honor God to start with me. If you too will commit to feeling and experiencing God from now, you will see Him in your life in both the little and the big things and others will see Him in you. This is how you will relate with God and find Him as God in heaven, God with you and God in you. Put this way: When I kneel down to pray, I relate with God in Heaven: when I meditate, I relate with God in me: when I obey and do what He says, I relate with God with me. 

PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, help me to keep my gaze on You, seek You till I find You and hold on to you.
