December 17. Hebrews ch 7-10
ONE UNIVERSAL KINGDOM
“¶The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty (kingdom) rules over all [the universe].” Psalms 103:19 AMP
GOOD DAY: Difficult as it may be to believe, the whole universe is the kingdom of God and He is on His throne in the heavens ruling over all His creation including the earth. It is difficult to believe that God rules over all because we see man as ruling. Wherever man has power, he rules as he likes. He decides what he does in his domain the way he likes without God doing anything. An oppressed person calls endlessly to God who “seems” not to answer or powerless to do anything. It was as I was doing my stock taking and the thought that who do I take as the ruler of the universe came to my mind. I wondered how relevant the question is to my life. The Holy Spirit then brought a stock taking that is most important of all to me. Listen; “Your faithfulness continues from generation to generation; You have established the earth, and it stands [securely]. They continue this day according to Your ordinances, For all things [all parts of the universe] are Your servants. [Jer 33:25]” Psalms 119:90-91 AMP
The earth is established securely on God’s rules and all parts of the universe are His servants both the good and the bad. They all obey Him. So the stock taking question is HOW MUCH OF THE RULES OR LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE DO YOU KNOW? Take time to think and write down how much of the laws of the universal kingdom that you know and how much do you live by? Jesus came not to bring a religion but to show us the kingdom of God to live by therein for peace and well being. He showed man how he can use his power to subdue the earth. You are a significant part of the universe. If one person flows out of order, it has a ripple effect as yeast runs through a dough of bread. Think on this today and see how much of kingdom rules that you know, understand and live by.
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, teach me Your ways that I may walk in them.
