December 26. Revelation ch 10-14
PREPARE TO PROSPER
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John 1:2 KJV
GOOD DAY: Compliments of this season once again and I hope you had a merry Christmas celebration. To those who are down, especially those missing their loved ones who were called home during the outgoing year and today is their first Christmas without their loved ones, I say accept my sympathy but remember the fun you used to have together and share it with someone so you can live the experience again and feel good.
That said, we need to start making preparations for next year. We must begin to prepare to prosper as the years go by no matter what the world says or whatever direction it turns.
Prosperity is not only about money or wealth, it is an all round well being- spiritual, material and natural. God wants us to prosper in fact “Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: Yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.” Psalm 35:27 KJV
He has pleasure in your prosperity but you need to understand the logistics. EVERY PROSPERITY STARTS FROM THE SOUL. You can only prosper to the extent that your soul prospers. This makes it mandatory for everyone to grow in the spirit. Whatever way you choose, you must develop you spirit otherwise your soul cannot prosper. As A Christian, the way to grow spiritually is through the Holy Spirit and the word of God. The Holy Spirit takes the word or mind of Christ and reveals it to you and as you live in obedience, your soul begins to prosper. God gave the dynamics in Joshua 1:8. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8 KJV
It is the last week of the year, the time to start planning your time so you give priority to your spiritual development.
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, please teach me to plan my time so that the growth of my spirit will take priority over all else.
