believe the grave or believe the resurrection

January 26.   Exodus ch 26-28

BELIEVE THE GRAVE OR BELIEVE THE RESURRECTION

“Martha then said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. Even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.” Jesus *said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha *said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”” John 11:21-26 NASB1995

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: I have been asked by a couple of people about how to deal with the grief associated with the loss of a dear person. The grief never seems to go away as hard as they try, they say. The Holy Spirit opened my mind to the fact that it is what you believe that matters and that again is through the word of God we will work on our belief. He said to my spirit that it is either we believe the grave or believe the resurrection; believe in long life or believe in eternal life. Jesus Christ came as Man to show us Life and death. He lived here in the flesh, died and went to the grave for three days and resurrected on the third day opening the grave that all who believe in Him have eternal life in Him and they do not die (their souls live on). He told the thief on his right hand that he would be with Jesus in paradise the day he died. Luke 23:43 This is why everyone must hear the good news of Jesus Christ and either accept or reject Him so that the person enters eternity with and in Him and such person does not die because His soul lives. “Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.” 2 Corinthians 5:16 NASB1995

The soul of those who die in the flesh lives on in Christ if they believed in Him and the fruit of the Spirit of Christ that they produced while here is the state of their soul while it departs from the body.

Today’s exercise:

    ????????????????????????
Glory to God Almighty ???????? ????????
As long as we remember and believe that the Resurrection and the Life Eternal as embedded in Christ Jesus is in and with us, the fear of death as a finality will hold no grip on us. May God help us to think this through in Jesus’ name. Amen!!!

Thank you. The finality is the sting of death while the resurrection is the expectation of a glorious joyous meeting again. This is so comforting.
