CONNECTING WITH POWER WITHIN
God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.

GOOD DAY: Have you wondered how to connect with the power of God that works within you? Before I give a summary of how, I will take us to a story in scriptures. And when they heard this, they lifted their voices to God with one accord and said, “O Lord, it is You who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all that is in them, who by the Holy Spirit, through the mouth of our father David Your servant, said, ‘Why did the Gentiles rage, And the peoples devise futile things? The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together Against the Lord and against His Christ.’ For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose predestined to occur. And now, Lord, take note of their threats, and grant that Your bond-servants may speak Your word with all confidence, while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.

They quickened the power at work within them to be able to preach the gospel boldly. Spreading the gospel in the face of persecution and death was the goal and the challenge they had then. To quicken the power that works within, you have to believe that God is not man and He should lie nor change His mind. Whatever He says, He does in His own time and way. That being so, you have to take a scripture that pertains to what you want done and meditate on it day and night until it unfolds. Those who invented great machines for example had the vision to subdue the earth and have dominion over it in their area of interest. They meditated on their invention day and night until they had understanding. The person who developed aircrafts for example meditated on shorter travel time between places in the world like the birds do. This is how dominion was gained over the air.
What do you desire to do? Find it in the word of God or in nature then meditate on it day and night till you trigger the power at work within you to flow in that direction.
PRAY: Dear Lord, give me a noble desire that I will employ Your power at work within me to accomplish.
