January 19. Exodus ch 23-26
FEEL THE FEELING
“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2 NASB1995
GOOD DAY. A top senior servant got UK visiting visa for a committed and hard working cleaner who also doubled up as her personal assistant. She did not want to sponsor the cleaner’s trip as she knew it would be a no return journey. The cleaner had the joy of being in an aircraft, landing and living in the UK before her and she kept the feeling sustained daily. She gave herself more to her cleaning job believing there will be a way for her. One day, another senior staff offered to take her along as her housekeeper abroad and made her promise they will come back together then she can go again by herself. The rest is history.
Jesus saw you and I and all who will believe on him to be saved from eternal destruction and the joy of that large company made Him to endure the cross the price for our salvation. Jesus felt the feeling of joy. He kept the vision of the many souls that His death on the cross will bring before Him and with the attendant joy so it was bearable to go to the cross.
You are to feel the joy of your mission or desire fulfilled. You are reading this because I feel the joy of you putting it to practice and having results. It is with the feeling of joy that you will draw water from the well of salvation.
“Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.” Isaiah 12:3 KJVAE
In joy praising the Lord for the success set before you, you will draw living water from the well of salvation. Learn to feel the feeling of joy of mission fulfilled as you are going along.
PRAY: Help me Lord to set my mission accomplished as my focus and live in the joy of fulfillment even as I am waiting.
