GETTING TO BELIEVE GOD SPEAKS

GETTING TO BELIEVE THAT GOD SPEAKS

He who planted the ear, does he not hear? He who formed the eye, does he not see?  Psalm 94:9 ESV

GOOD DAY: Ear, eye, mouth and nose, they go together. He who made them must have them because He made man in His image and likeness. He talks, He sees and He hears and He smells. I was on a full train yesterday and we were held at a spot for about thirty minutes because a train broke down at a major station on our route ahead. The driver was apologizing for the detay intermittently. After his third announcement saying he had no idea how long it would take, most people in my coach sighed and said “O God”. They were mostly white people so in spite of their technological advancement and not consciously accepting God, they sigh to Him when they are frustrated. Human problem is that we do not perceive God with our natural senses nor can we reason Him out with our intellect. We relate with God by faith and  COMMIT to pleasing Him. COMMITMENT to please Him is fundamental to hearing Him. This commitment inspires you to pray and ask Him to speak clearly in the language that you understand because whatever you understand of a situation in your heart you will believe is from Him and act accordingly. We will look at some examples of those who heard Him in the bible to see how commitment works  tomorrow.

PRAY: Dear Lord, help me to consciously commit myself to pleasing You always.
