LET LOVE BE.
1 Come, let us all unite to sing,
God is love. 2ce
Let heav’n and earth their praises bring,

Let ev’ry soul from sin awake,
let ev’ry heart sweet music make,
and sing with us for Jesus’ sake,
for God is love 2ce.
2 O tell to earth’s remotest bound,
God is love 2ce
In Christ we have redemption found,
God is love 2ce
His blood has washed our sins away,
his Spirit turned our night to day,
and now we can rejoice to say
that God is love 2ce
3 What though our mortal flesh shall fail,
God is love 2ce
Through Christ we shall o’er death prevail,
God is love 2ce
While endless ages roll along,
we’ll triumph with the heav’nly throng
and this shall be our sweetest song,
that God is love 2ce
4 How happy is our portion here,
God is love 2ce
These promises our spirits cheer,
God is love 2ce
God is our sun and shield by day,
our help, our hope, our strength and stay;
and will be with us all the way:
our God is love 2ce
THIS IS LOVE
“Love endures with patience and serenity,
love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant.
It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered];
it does not take into account a wrong endured.
It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail].
Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times],
endures all things [without weakening].
Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 AMP
