GOD IN THE EQUATION OF LIFE
“All your creations wait for you to give them their food on time. When you give it to them, they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are filled completely full! But when you hide your face, they are terrified; when you take away their breath, they die and return to dust.” Psalms 104:27-29 CEN
GOOD DAY: We identify with God in various ways in our lives. Are you an employer of labor or an employee? The employee may not appreciate this because the employer will always labor as much as God grants him to pay his salary at the end of the month. However, the employer has to depend on God to provide customers or patronage for his goods or services. Most employers of labor in countries where God is still acknowledged pray for patronage every morning before they set out to work and as the day goes on when patronage or sales are slow, he remembers God again. I wonder though how many of them revert back to God when things are good.
Our verse for this short meditation should be turned to prayer and possibly memorized and repeated until it forms a picture in your mind of God opening His hand for you to have your fill of provision. Remember that unless God moves people towards your services or goods, they cannot come. So connect with the scripture meditation for today and draw near to God to take your provision from His open hands.
PRAY: Dear Lord, I pray that You will cause me to see Your open hands to me as I draw near to You.
