god wrote the story we play it out

September 27.       Daniel ch 5-7

GOD WROTE THE STORY; WE PLAY IT OUT

““The Lord says, ‘When Babylonia’s seventy years are over, I will show my concern for you and keep my promise to bring you back home. I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for. Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you.” Jeremiah 29:10-12 GNB

GOOD DAY: I had the opportunity to have my play chosen for drama competition when I was in school. I had to watch the actors and instruct them on how each part should be acted to bring out the desired production according to my intentions.

God wrote the story of the whole world including each person’s life and we are to fit into the play to display the majesty of God. Whatever is going on in the world has the play written in the bible. Every individual’s life is known to God and it is written so that by studying it, we can know what God is saying and be able to flow with the story line. For all the stories, God’s intention is summarized in our lead scripture for today. God’s thoughts towards you and each one of us are thoughts of good and not of evil to give us the future that we hope for. While walking with Him, if we hold on to Him in His word, we can go through highs and lows of the journey and everything will take us to our expected end. In nature, every part of a journey takes time. So it is with God. You need patience as you are going through each phase. If you read the Bible, you will see the play of those who were patient with God and those who took matters into their own hands. You will end up in whatever path you choose. If you read Jeremiah 29, you will see the play and how God asked them to play for seventy years. Whatever part you are acting now in these harsh times, God is in control and you will come out victorious. It may be hard to believe but God is with you. The more you can lose yourself in Him, the more peace you will have.

PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, make me patient and not lose hope while walking with You to my expected end.

“The more you can lose yourself in Him, the more peace you will have.”
This is very, very, very true. We need courage to surrender SELF to God. He has given us the grace for that, we need to use the given grace to forge ahead in Him.
