June 15. Job ch 32-34
HOLD IT
““In everything you do, be careful to treat others in the same way you’d want them to treat you, for that is the essence of all the teachings of the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12 TPT
GOOD DAY: Be careful what you do to others in thoughts and actions. This is for your own sake and not because of the other person. It will come back to you. What you do to others is a reflection of who you really are inwardly. For good or evil to spread in society depends on you. Think and see others as your neighbor who is a good person that deserves the best thoughts, words and action from you. Give him that good in you and the same will come back to you from others. So before you think or act, hold it and consider whether it is a good or bad thought.
I have heard people who complain that they give good out but they are repaid with evil. The answer to that is to check what actually goes through to you. It is like two soils receiving water. The rock, hard and shining and a sandy soil. The water slides down on the rock and produces no effect while the sandy soil soaks in the water and it produces fruit. Bad actions or thoughts will not cling to you to have an effect. Think deeply about that and receive courage to continue doing good to people no matter who they are.
PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, please help me to see beyond the surface and keep to what is good even when people who do evil surround me.
