August 23. Jeremiah ch 21-23
WEEPING MAY LAST THROUGH THE NIGHT BUT JOY COMES IN THE MORNING
“I’ve learned that his anger lasts for a moment, but his loving favor lasts a lifetime! We may weep through the night, but at daybreak it will turn into shouts of ecstatic joy.” Psalms 30:5 TPT
GOOD DAY: We do need encouragement from time to time otherwise, one may give up on faith. Encouragement comes from knowing the nature of God. Weeping may come because of pains from suffering for disobedience. The night time is the duration of the pain of the punishment. You feel like God does not see you suffering or He doesn’t love you, but tht is not true. The earlier you learn to embrace the pain and ask for the lessons and reasons for it, the shorter the night will be.
Once the night is over, you feel an ecstatic joy from within even when the situation has not changed physically. Ecstatic joy over any situation that gives the heart sorrow leading to tears is the night that will give way to joy. Even if your tears are running as a result of sin, God’s mercy shall yet bring the morning.
PRAY; Dear Lord, I lift all weeping souls to You this day asking that You pour Your comforting mercy on them. In Your judgement Lord, please remember mercy.
