November 15. John ch 19-21
KNOW THE POWER WITHIN YOU
“Yahweh-God scooped up a lump of soil, sculpted a man, and blew into his nostrils the breath of life. The man came alive—a living soul!” Genesis 2:7 TPT
GOOD DAY: Everybody (man and woman) who is living has this power within him no matter the gender, age, colour, or position. When the power departs, the body becomes a lifeless mold of clay as it was at creation. To this extent, there is God in every living soul. God gave of Himself to mankind. God gave mankind His mandate for man; “And God blessed them in his love, saying, “Reproduce and be fruitful! Populate the earth and subdue it! Reign over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and every creature that lives on earth.”” Genesis 1:28 TPT
So everyone of us has the mandate to subdue the earth. With the mandate, He gave us the tool; He gave us a mind which can be seen as the woman chose to eat what God asked them not to eat.
“When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.” Genesis 3:6 NASB1995
This fundamental understanding and awareness is necessary for man to prosper. A person that cannot use his mind will be held captive by those who can. Once you can get yourself to believe this, then you have taken the first step to connection with the power within you.
Man had a choice to use this power under the guidance of God the giver or independent of Him. Adam chose to use it independent of God by disobeying Him. He unleashed the consequence of disobedience – death. So all mankind inherited death but because we still have the spark of God in us, each person can choose to either live in obedience to God and have life or live in disobedience to Him and carry on in death. We continue from here tomorrow to see how to live in life but for today, think of the scriptures of today and the meditation and write your own understanding in your journal.
