OPERATING IN THE SPIRIT (1)

“Then
God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness: “God
created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and
female He created them.”

“When
Adam had lived one hundred and thirty years, he became the father of a son in
his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth.” Genesis 5:3
NASB1995

GOOD MORNING. Two
attributes are common to God and Adam the man he made. Can you recognise them?
They are IMAGE and LIKENESS. This means that God transferred the
power of IMAGING after his likeness to mankind just like Him. Man can IMAGINE
anything after his own likeness.

Every
invention that you see are the products of imaging or imagination of someone.
Imagination leads to creativity. In actual fact, man can create a whole world
in his imagination that is different from what his visible reality is. God uses
our imagination to relate with us. Likewise, other spirits too can use man’s
imagination to relate with him. See this record of the bible:  “The
Lord saw that the wickedness (depravity) of man was great on the earth, and
that every imagination or intent of the thoughts of his heart were only evil
continually.”Genesis 6:5 AMP. Imagination therefore is a powerful tool
from God that man needs to guard very well. The state of your imagination
determines your mood. Ideas trigger imagination. The idea to make man in ‘THEIR
IMAGE’ triggered God’s imagination before He made man in the beginning. Pause
from time to time today to see what the imagination of the thoughts of your
heart are. That may be the beginning to the breakthrough that you so
desire.

Lord, may the imagination of my heart be acceptable to You.
