LONG EXPOSURE

GOOD DAY: A woman I knew as a girl was posh and she was decent in speech and attitude. She got married to a local man and five years of marriage makes her speak the roughest and meanest of Yoruba language. Long exposure to a person causes his character or nature to rub on. 

See what the bible says about exposure:   “Make no friendship with an angry man; And with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, And get a snare to thy soul.” Proverbs 22:24-25 KJV

 “Keep company with the wise and you will become wise. If you make friends with stupid people, you will be ruined. Proverbs 13:20 GNT

Long close exposure to people makes their characters run off on you. The apostles were exposed closely to Jesus in the three years of His ministry and to His word in the upper room after He was taken to heaven that the teachers of the Law saw the nature and character of Jesus displayed by them. 

When you spend time with God in His word and praise, God’s nature rubs off on you. Holiness becomes your nature. The joy and pleasures of His presence gets deep into you. Make Long exposure to God your lifestyle and you will not only have joy and pleasure, you will hear Him and know His secrets. 

PRAY: Dear Lord, let me enjoy Your company and dwell where You are in Jesus name.
