June 7. Job ch 1-5
LOVE NOTES.
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7 KJV
(God kissed me and breath His breath of life into my nostrils. Sweet)
“The Lord appeared to him from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.” Jeremiah 31:3 NASB1995
(The Lord’s love for me will never end)
“Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. Isaiah 49:16 NASB1995
(God has a tattoo of me on His palms. He sees me always)
“You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.” John 15:16 NASB1995
(Jesus chose me to bear His fruit just like my husband chose me to bear his fruit)
“Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.”
John 15:13 NASB1995
(Jesus Christ laid down His life for me to pay for my release from eternal death.)
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
(The Lord has good plans for me in this relationship. He won’t harm or abuse me.)
“I have never called you ‘servants,’ because a master doesn’t confide in his servants, and servants don’t always understand what the master is doing. But I call you my most intimate and cherished friends, for I reveal to you everything that I’ve heard from my Father.” John 15:15 TPT
(Jesus calls me His most intimate and cherished friend and He tells me everything He hears from His dad)
“For thus says the Lord of hosts, “After glory He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.”
Zechariah 2:8 NASB1995
(I am the apple of His eyes, very well protected)
““For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
John 3:16 NASB1995
(God loves me so much that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus to die for me that I may have eternal life with Him. So sweet, He will not desert me even after this life.)
Looking at these love notes, you cannot but wonder like the Psalmist when he says
“What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him? Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty! You make him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,” Psalm 8:4-6 NASB 1995.
PRAY: Dear Lord and Friend, I love you. I am sorry for the times I have offended and turned my back on You. Do forgive me and draw me to love You more. In Jesus name.
