December 2. 1 Corinthians ch 7-10
MY HELP (He Steadies My Feet)
“He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalms 121:3-4 NASB1995
GOOD DAY: Before looking at this scripture from a spiritual angle, I want to testify to the fact that God actually prevents my feet from slipping. You too would have experienced it but you never put it to God. Many times, especially as a senior citizen, I would have fallen. My feet slipped to a point and stopped and an unseen hand supported me from falling. I normally thank God as that is my habit to thank God for everything including when I am able to ease myself.
Because He neither sleeps nor slumber, He sees everything that is going on in my life. If I will slip in any decision, He will not permit it to go through. In making decisions, He guides me and sometimes the way He leads me seems to be wrong at that point but when His work is concluded, I see His protective hands in the ‘wrong’ decisions that I thought I made. He neither sleeps nor slumbers and so I can sleep even in the storms of life. God as your keeper does not sleep or slumber. When this sets in your spirit, it guides everything about you to show that your guide is alive. The result will be quiet confidence. Make your decision to understand your help.
PRAY: Dear Lord and Father, I see that You neither sleep nor slumber. Let me have peace in this truth in Jesus name.
