RECOGNISING THE PEACE OF GOD
“The work of righteousness is peace, and the result of righteousness is quietness and confidence forever.” Isaiah 32:17 TPT
GOOD DAY: Yesterday, we saw that peace of God comes by being on the same page with God. This is righteousness. The work of righteousness is peace and the result of righteousness is quietness (rest of the spirit) and confidence forever. You see, God lives in each of us as He is the life giver. He gave us independence to choose how we want to live our lives. However, in the heart of each person that is breathing, there is the spark of God called the Holy Spirit. This spark of God does not force man to serve Him. There are also the desires and cares of the world which are manifested in works of the flesh. Check Genesis 3:1-7 and Mark 7:18-22. Genesis 3:1-7 is the root of Mark 7:18-22. A man can choose to be on the same page with the Spirit of God and have peace of God that passes human understanding or he can choose to be on the same page with the desires and cares of the world and have storm and turmoil in his heart even when everything the world can give is in his favor. This desire of the eyes in Genesis 3:1-7 is what individuals and nations appeal to to keep others in bondage.
When a person is on the same page with God, He gives him all the treasures of the world with peace of mind.
“And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.” James 3:18 KJV
In peace of God, your mind will be guided to what you can do that will improve your life with peace of mind. It is important therefore that each person be able to personally connect with God so you can have His peace and succeed at the same time.
PRAY: Dear Lord, set my heart to seek You until I find You that I may have perfect peace that passes human understanding.
