RETURN ON INVESTMENT

“And He began telling this parable: “A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any. And he said to the vineyard-keeper, ‘Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?’ And he answered and said to him, ‘Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer; and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.’”

Luke 13:6-9 NASB1995

GOOD DAY: We are truly made in the image of God. We want a return on investment. If you are really interested in studying this further so as to know how to reason with God, read Isaiah 5:1-7. If God wants a return on His investment in your life, you may ask Him for return on investment in giving up all and living for Him alone if you truly do. His word says “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.” Galatians 6:7 NASB1995.

If you are truly serving God, how do you feel about being close enough to Him to dialogue with Him in this father/son manner? In Isaiah chapter 5, you will see how He expressed His emotion towards the Israelite. Many of us cannot ask for returns because we have not invested in God. Serving God is different from serving your pastor or a denomination. If you are doing that, then ask your pastor or denomination for a reward on your investment. But if your heart truly belongs to God, and you are not seeing any reward, then you can ask Him. Video asked: “Then Gideon said to him, “O my Lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and given us into the hand of Midian.”Judges 6:13 NASB1995 Be friendly enough with God to dialogue with Him.
