SEED BANK (Accumulated Thoughts)

“This is what the LORD says to the people of Judah and to the residents of Jerusalem: Break up your hard rocky soil; don’t plant among the thorns.” Jeremiah 4:3 CEB

HAPPY DAY TO YOU: Our thoughts and actions have eternal consequences bearing on our lives, either positive or negative.

How I wish one had known earlier in life the role of one’s accumulated thoughts in the shaping of one’s life; one would have been deliberate in how one thinks and how to ensure one creates pleasant memories of positive eternal benefits. Things we can do to amend this, but not limited, are imbibing the culture of reading the bible daily, pure and unquestionable obedience to the word of God, loving and helping people, sowing into the work of the Kingdom of God, and of course being always in the place where the Spirit of God Almighty can operate. There is a flip side to all of these, and that is when we do things diametrically opposed to God’s desires. When our thoughts and actions are led by our sinful nature, we please the devil and thereby negatively mortgage our future further.

We need to consciously guide our hearts because out it flows the issues of life. We can not be better than what our hearts produce, so our individual raw materials for the heart must be dynamic and godly.

Come to think of it, our thought process is actually affected by what we hear, see, and the places we find ourselves (environment and company). It is safe to say that thoughts are a fallout of our overall experiences in these areas. May God Almighty order our footsteps right in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!!!!!!!

Today’s exercise: Pray this scripture at least ten times today: “God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting way— the path that brings me back to you.” Psalms 139:23-24 TPT
