STARTING YOUR DREAM OR VISION

Zerubbabel laid the foundation for the temple, and he will complete it. Then everyone will know that you were sent by me, the Lord All-Powerful. Those who have made fun of this day of small beginnings will celebrate when they see Zerubbabel holding this important stone. Those seven lamps represent my eyes—the eyes of the Lord—and they see everything on this earth.   Zechariah‬4‬:9‬-10‬ CEV‬‬

GOOD DAY: The man Zerubbabel saw the vision of the broken temple of Jerusalem being rebuilt and it was a massive job. The first thing that God spoke to Him about the temple was not to depend on his power and might to fulfil it but to depend on the Spirit of the Lord, verse 6 of Zechariah ch 4. So learn to rely on the Holy Spirit at every turn in the dream. The next step is to see how you can start. No matter how small, start something in the dream. Remember that the foundation of the skyscraper was a stone. Stone upon stone eventually became the skyscraper. People watching you might be despising the days of small beginnings but if you don’t mind them, they will hail you when you rise to a big level. I remember when I saw the vision of spreading the word of God to every household through the air. There was no social media then. I started with a weekly four-page bulletin and even my close friends mocked me. Today, through social media, the bulletin is reaching across the world. Also, the bulletin has grown into devotional books that have travelled all over the world. Start from where you are and watch the dream unfold.

PRAY: Dear Lord, give me the grace to tarry with my vision/dream especially when times are challenging.

The message in today’s devotional is what I need at this point. .I’m being led to start a church but somehow fearful. This message today is the Spirit of God talking to me not to be scared but to proceed with it. I’m starting from my sitting room on Sunday April 7, 2024 by the grace of God.

Do not despise the days of small beginnings for surely there is an end and your expectation will not be cut short for there is an expected end.
Dream big, have faith and put your vision into action, having no fear. The Spirit of God will be your counsellor, helper, teacher, advocate, strengthener intercessor and your dreams will eventually come to be fulfilled, by the grace of God.
