November 23. Acts ch 20-21
STUCK OR FREE AND MOVING?
“I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead.” Philippians 3:13 TPT
GOOD DAY: “Ha sister Bose, I can’t get over what he did to me ten years ago. If not for God, I would have died.” I asked what her husband had done then. She narrated it and it was bad. I acknowledged that it was bad but since then how has he been behaving? So are you happy whenever you remember what he did? She said no. Does he know that you are holding on to the offense of ten years back? She said no. So she is stuck in the actions of ten years ago and not enjoying her marriage at the moment. She is stuck in an offense, some are stuck in a success and failing to move forward.
To move forward, you must have a destination or a future. If you have a future, then that should be your focus. You should forget whatever is past and move on towards that future. If you are stuck mid way to the future that you desire, you won’t fill fulfilled. You might be happy for a while but then you start agitating within you for progress. Some people chasing deliverance may actually be the ones binding themselves by refusing to leave the past behind and move towards their desired future.
We must learn to move our thoughts everyday towards our desired future. As you move your thoughts towards your desired future, the power at work within you moves you in the direction of fulfillment. I remember there was a boy living with me who was very disobedient and was going with bad friends. I wanted him to go up to the university in his education as he was quite brilliant. I chose to think of him in the future I saw of him and not limit the bad boy that he was then. Eventually, he changed to become responsible and passed his qualifying exams and attended a university to his and my delight to the glory of God. Think in the now with a focus on your future. Is that not how we drive? God says “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19 KJV
PRAY: Dear Lord, this takes Your power and grace to do but I wish to forget the past and focus on You and the way that You are leading me forward. Help me Lord.

Thank you Ma’am. I sure needed the light of this message, today. May the anointing never go dry in Jesus Mighty Name. I have archived the past 3 or 4 messages so l can go back to read and put to practice. The battle of the mind is SERIOUS. Like an onion l have been blessed with the different word based applications you have shared as to how to put contrary thoughts and ideas to the obedience of Christ. It is empowering and liberating to know that with God we are overcomers once we are truly aligned in faith and the work of faith.I have been truly blessed. Ese Ma.

Sis. Bọ́sẹ̀, I learnt to do this many years ago, and it has paid off for me. What you wrote is a true reality, if an offended person wants to move forward in life. Thank you.
