CONTROL YOUR MIND
“And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let his mindset become your motivation.”

GOOD DAY. I was listening attentively to what a person was saying to me and he said some phrase that caught my attention. It is a subject I would like to pursue. It is called the “art and science of the mind or mental science.” What does the bible say about this?
The first thing I get as a foundation is that MY MIND IS MINE TO CONTROL. In the scripture above, you are told to let a particular mind be in you. It is the mind that was in Christ. Christ had His own mind when He was here too.
I likened the mind to water. If you don’t set boundaries for it, it flows anywhere and everywhere possible. Like water, it flows from high point to low point if it is not controlled. Also, like the control of water flow has its science and art, the control of the mind has the same. You must take control of your mind back because it is from there that the issues of your life are decided. The bible puts it this way “More than anything you guard, protect your mind, for life flows from it.” Proverbs 4:23 CEB
It is your duty to protect your mind. God won’t do it for you nor will any human being do it. You do it by yourself. So we need to learn the “art and science of the mind” to control the issues of our life.
Some people reading this might think it has to do with the occult. That is the lie of the devil to deceive you and keep your life scattered and going the way you do not want and out of your control. If the bible says that you should protect your mind, then study to find out what instructions are in the bible on how to protect your mind.
