“The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things;”Acts 17:24-25 NASB1995

THE REAL LIVING TEMPLE INTRODUCED

“Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” The Jews then said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?” But He was speaking of the TEMPLE OF HIS BODY So when He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.”

John 2:19-22 NASB1995

“Or do you not know that your body is a TEMPLE of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?” 1 Corinthians 6:19 NASB1995

“Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”

HUMAN TEMPLES ARE BEING BUILT

“you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”  1 Peter 2:5 NASB1995

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;”  1 Peter 2:9 NASB1995

““It will come about after this That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions. Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” Joel 2:28-29 NASB1995

GOOD DAY: The first temple that king Solomon built where God put His name was destroyed and the second one rebuilt by the exiles was also destroyed by the Roman Empire. At present, there is no physical temple in Israel. The real temple now is all individuals that have the Holy Spirit. They are also the priests in this dispensation as Joel 2:27-28 was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost. Think of this scriptures today and tomorrow, we shall see from scriptures how to know the temple where God puts His name now. 

PRAY: Thank You Lord that You do not live in hand made temples of man but in everyone who receives Your Spirit. Open my eyes to see the mystery in Your word and how to please You.
