There is an appointed time

June 8.      Job ch 6-9

THERE IS AN APPOINTED TIME

“And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their appointed time.”” Luke 1:20 NIV

GOOD DAY: Not many of us will act better than Zechariah when you have waited for God’s promise to the extent that the natural order of things has ceased. I know of times and seasons for everything under heaven but God wants to talk to someone today. Zechariah was an elderly priest who was supposed to know God and not doubt so when he did, he was made dumb so he would not reverse the word of God which had the appointed time that it would happen.

God is talking to someone today who is about to start doubting God’s word to him/her. You are losing hope and about to use your mouth to block your performance of God’s promise. Don’t doubt, don’t talk and stop telling people about it. Wait a little more, it is round the corner. You are almost there. Stop complaining, keep thanking God. I rejoice with you because now is your time. Give all glory to God. I praise God with you. 

PRAY: Dear Lord, I hold my mouth and stop my mind from doubting your word to me. You are neither late nor early. Your time is right. Your word is here. Thank You Lord.
