September 6. Ezekiel ch 17-19
TIME WORK ON YOUR FAITH
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”. Mark 9:23 NKJV
GOOD DAY, Whoever is wise will see that it is time to work on his faith. The number of people who complain about the state of affairs and condition of living all over the world sends the message that things may get out of human control not too far away. It is becoming a case of the just shall live by his faith. Hear the cry of prophet Habakkuk in His time: O Lord, how long shall I cry, And You will not hear? Even cry out to You, “Violence!” And You will not save. Why do You show me iniquity, And cause me to see trouble? For plundering and violence are before me; There is strife, and contention arises. Therefore the law is powerless, And justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; Therefore perverse judgment proceeds.
Habakkuk 1:2-4 NKJV
Hear God’s reply: Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2:2, 4 NKJV
The soul of those doing havoc is not upright in them but the just shall live by his faith. Faith is personal for God did not use plural possessive adjectives but singular. The starting point is to ask yourself what does “believe” mean to me? How does “believe” make all things possible for those who have it? Like little children trying to strengthen their muscles, let the wise person begin to understand his belief or faith and start exercising that faith in little things so he can fail or fall and stand up again to grow his faith. We shall continue with this again but pay attention to the state of your faith today.
PRAY: Dear Lord, I believe. Do help my unbelief.
