TIME TO KNOW HIM
“By smooth words he will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will display strength and take action.”

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32 KJV
GOOD DAY. With the early Christians, the work then was for them to tell others about salvation in Jesus Christ. Having encountered Christ, they were to go round and witness to others about Him. That was called evangelism. Some even lost their lives while doing this.
Today however, the world demands more than word of mouth for them to believe that there is God at all. The world needs the manifestation of the children of God.
“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” Romans 8:19 KJV.
Although the world has advanced so much and gone into the realm that was once thought to be divine, it still cannot touch and change the soul of man. There is no medication that can know the thought of a man from afar even before thinking it to be able to stop him. “You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O Lord, You know it all.”
Psalms 139:2, 4 NASB1995.
To do exploits that will bring man to acknowledge God, we His children must know Him. To know Him, we must seek Him. The foundation work to do then is to know God. So many things makes it difficult for us to seek after God. The cares of the world being the chief of them all. The here are many legitimate cares of the world. Providing for your dependants for example is legitimate. This is a tall ranking order but then it is God that supplies. God feeds and clothes His other creatures not made in His image, how will He leave you His image uncared for?
Begin to seek to know Him in prayer, His word and obedience to His word. There are so many electronic tools to seek His word. You can choose a topic and study it. Check where all the words appear in the bible using a concordance app. Put a picture of what He says about the topic together for a clear understanding. Then pattern your thought along His thought as you have found in your study. The more you do this, the more of Him you will know personally.
PRAY: Lord, I wish to know You and live in Your power. Hold my hand and teach me Lord.
