July 20. Songs of Solomon ch 6-8
TRANSFORMATION
..but whenever a person turns [in repentance and faith] to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom]. And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:16-18 AMP
GOOD DAY: Baba’s (as he was called by his workers) PA had been with him for forty years. For about ten years now, he has been the one answering Baba’s calls and the person on the other end would not know. It took thirty years for Baba to be open with him and remove the barrier of boss/servant so he could study Baba closely. He had been transformed in thoughts and speaking to be like Baba. This is what happens when you accept Christ and turn to Him. The veil in your eyes is removed and you are able to behold Him as in a mirror.
This you do with your mind. You read His word, see its outworking in life and learn from it. The more you look, the more you become transformed from one level of His glory to another. This leads to understanding His voice and His ways. As you stay your mind on the Lord, He opens Himself to you more and more. Even in nature, whatever you focus your attention on becomes clearer and clearer to you. Make the Lord your focus and you will be transformed to Him as you watch His glory in His word and life.
PRAY: Dear Lord, help me to stay my mind on You and open my eyes to see Your glory.
