TREASURES OF THE HEART
“People are known in this same way. Out of the virtue stored in their hearts, good and upright people will produce good fruit. Likewise, out of the evil hidden in their hearts, evil ones will produce what is evil. For the overflow of what has been stored in your heart will be seen by your fruit and will be heard in your words.” Luke 6:45 TPT
GOOD DAY: Since the beginning of the week, we have been considering the treasures in the heart. You would have become aware of the state of your heart even if it is just a little. We saw the treasures of the unclean spirit of the world. Today we are going to see the treasures of the good Spirit of God. Here are the treasures of the Holy Spirit. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23 BSBB
Check your heart for each of the treasures above. How many of them and how much are in your heart? You collect them by yielding to the Holy Spirit. You increase them the more yielded you are to the Holy Spirit. You want to ask ; how do I yield to the Holy Spirit? It is by obeying or doing whatever He puts in your heart. If for example He tells you to forgive someone and you do it, then you increase in the fruit of peace. If He tells you to keep doing what you are doing that result will come and you obey, you are getting richer in patience. The more you gather and store these treasures, the happier you will become. Also, the closer you become to Jesus and soon you will be doing what He does. I pray that my house will be rich towards God.
PRAY: Dear Lord, I see that it takes a great resolve to keep my soul filled with good treasure. Please strengthen my resolve to acquire and to keep You good Spiritual treasure in me.
