Walk with understanding

May 30.                   Ezra ch 8-10

WALK WITH UNDERSTANDING.

“Brothers and sisters, will it help you if I come to you speaking in different languages? No! It will help you only if I bring you a new truth or some new knowledge, or prophecy, or teaching. It is the same as with lifeless things that make soundslike a flute or a harp. If they do not make clear musical notes, you will not know what is being played. And in a war, if the trumpet does not give a clear sound, who will prepare for battle?” 1 Corinthians 14:6-8

GOOD DAY: While preparing for the marathon journey going through the Bible in 120 days,  you need to make some preparations. The first major one, once you determine to do it, is to look for a Bible  translation that you enjoy reading. Because it will free you from the captivity of the devil and his agents in disguise preventing you from knowing the truth, any complicated language will put you off. Thank God that there are Bible applications on the smartphone that carry all the versions available.

If you are interested in using your smart phone, learn how to highlight passages, take notes and save them as you go along.

Unless you read the bible in the language that you can understand, you will neither be instructed on what the passage is saying nor be edified by it. It will just be like when a stranger is talking to you. So determine from now the version of the bible that is simple enough for you to understand. The table or the route we are taking will be published tomorrow by God’s grace.

PRAY: Dear Lord, as I am preparing to have a walk with You reading through the Bible, remove my fears and strengthen me with Your strength.
