WHEN IN NEED OF PEACE AND REST FOR YOUR SOUL

““Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. [Jer 6:16] For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.”” Matthew 11:28-30 AMP

GOOD DAY: There are loads of religious practices we have been taught to observe depending on our denomination that we have experienced to be of little or no help at all in having peace of mind or obtaining what we desire to get by practicing them. It ranges from prayers, fasting, giving in all shades, church attendance etc yet we do not have peace. Some people even join various spiritual activities from different religions yet they don’t have peace. I found Matthew 11:28-30 to have been of good help to me in locating peace for my soul. I had an experience that was strong enough to throw anyone off balance and totally disturbed. A lot of devastating lies and accusations were levied against me and I was thoroughly bullied but this is how I gained my balance and peace. I took the matter in prayer to God and Matthew 11:28-30 came to my heart. I decided to read the four gospels of Jesus as fast as time permitted me. My first reading was within three days. Although I didn’t know what to do, I had peace. By the second reading which took a bit longer, I had a clue as to what to do and that really gave me a deliverance that is beyond human understanding. When in need of peace and direction for your soul, you too can try it instead of following hard religious exercises that do not soothe your soul or tell you how to get out of the net. As you move to Jesus in the gospels, you will receive instructions as to the way to peace, rest and victory. 

Most common concern now is financial survival. As you move to Jesus in the gospels, you will be instructed as to what ‘fish’ you will catch that will meet all your needs. Matthew 17:27. There is enough provision for everybody. The problem is how to overcome obstacles that the world system has created. Your soul will be guided as you stay with Jesus. 

PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, I come to you in Your gospels. Thank You that my mind is calmed and  instructed in the way of peace and victory.
