WHEN THE TIME COMES

December 10.   Philippians ch 4- Colossians ch 2

WHEN THE TIME COMES

So Jesus *said to them, “My time is not yet here, but your time is always opportune. Go up to the feast yourselves; I do not go up to this feast because My time has not yet fully come.””‭  ‭John‬ ‭7‬:‭6‬, ‭8‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

“Jesus responded, “My time of being unveiled hasn’t yet come, but any time is a suitable opportunity for you to gain man’s approval. You can go ahead and celebrate the feast without me—my appointed time has not yet come.””‭   ‭John‬ ‭7‬:‭6‬, ‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

GOOD DAY: Many times our hearts are troubled when things we don’t like happen or when there is a delay in having our wishes and prayers fulfilled. I have discovered that the element of time is crucial to every event. Jesus was able to discern the time and He told His disciples and brothers that His time to go to the feast had not come.  They wanted Him to come and show off His power not really to worship God but for selfish reasons and to prove Himself. When Jesus is your companion in your life journey, He goes by God’s timing and takes you along. Things happen in His time and everything whether good or bad happens to give glory to God. It is the fruit of knowledge of good and evil that makes us independent of God and makes discerning His time difficult for us.

When His time comes, all things shall happen according to His plan and for His glory. Understanding timing calms our minds and makes us do our best as condition permits. Whatever you ask for shall surely come when His time comes. Keep seeing it in your mind’s eye and keep thanking God for what you see. At the fullness of time, it shall be born. Every birth comes with the pain of childbirth. So carry it in you, nurture it with praise and wait for the time to bear fruit.

PRAY: Dear Lord, when I see it, You will do it in Your own time and for Your own glory. Teach me to wait and know Your time in Jesus’ name.
