October 26. Mark ch 9-10
WHERE DO YOU SET YOUR MIND?
“But Jesus turned around, and glancing at all of the other disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, “Get out of my sight, Satan! For your heart is not set on God’s plan but man’s!”” Mark 8:33 TPT
GOOD DAY: It is interesting that being a Satan is not limited to thinking wicked thoughts. You can be Satan as well with your good human thoughts therefore, when next you are raining curses on Satan, be careful that you are not raining curses on yourself. Your mind may not be set on adultery and other kinds of wicked thoughts for you to be Satan; Peter was Jesus’ disciple, in fact he was the one who caught the revelation of Jesus’ real identity as the Messiah and Son of God. What does this say? We are beyond what we see as the body or perceive with our five senses. We are actually what we set our hearts on. The heart cannot be perceived with the five senses, a window to where your heart is set is through the word that you speak. When your heart is not set on the things of God; when your heart is not set on Love, it means you are not on the same page with God then you are Satan in that respect. Peter saw Jesus going to the cross as evil. and tried to discourage Jesus. The page of Love may be painful like the cross sometimes but if you can’t accept it, then you cannot experience God.
The safe space to be on the same page with God so that you can be at peace is to choose to love all things and all people every time. Even when it is not convenient, trust God that He is good and loves you and whatever it is will work out for your good.
PRAY: Dear Lord, there are too many people and circumstances that are difficult to love yet I know that You permit all things for my good. Help me to love when my strength fails me in Jesus name.

Very true what you said, Sister Bose, “WE ARE WHAT WE SET OUR MIND ON”. There is no doubt about this, “AS A MAN THINKETH IN HIS HEART SO IS HE” Prov 23:7a.
