February 12. Deuteronomy ch 16-19
YOU ARE THE ANSWER
““Roam to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, And look now and take note. And seek in her open squares, If you can find a man, If there is one who does justice, who seeks truth, Then I will pardon her. And although they say, ‘As the Lord lives,’ Surely they swear falsely.” O Lord, do not Your eyes look for truth? You have smitten them, But they did not weaken; You have consumed them, But they refused to take correction. They have made their faces harder than rock; They have refused to repent.”

GOOD DAY: “If you can find a man, If there is one who does justice, who seeks truth,” just one person who truly seeks the truth, then God will pardon. We talk about the people who govern, we talk about their corruption, expose their evils on social media but is it only them? What about you? How truthful are you with your neighbor? What is in your mind? If you have the opportunity of that Central Bank leader, will you do any better? The workman who overcharges for a job he does not do well, what do you say to that? You see that from our head to the sole of our feet in Nigeria is sore. We all need healing. We need to repent. From the spiritual leaders to those they lead, from the head of the family to its members, from the boss in the office to the cleaner, we are all guilty. We mouth God in vain. Imagine the video going viral now of the head of the Central Bank calling God to help him in the cover up of a massive embezzlement! What do you make of that?
I ask God how just one person will be useful in correcting massive deep rooted corruption in a nation. He reminded me of Elijah in Israel when they turned away from God. God showed up for Elijah and from king Ahab to the lowest in Israel repented. There is the network effect. One person with God will affect his bubble and each person in that bubble will affect his own bubble. It is not only disease and evil that can spread, righteousness and the reward of God for it can spread too. Be the one whose heart God will find right that He can use as point of contact to heal the land.
PRAY: Dear Lord, I surrender to you as that one person, purify me and use me as point of contact for revival and healing of the land.
